How You Can Help
Volunteer
Volunteers are a vital part of our organization and play a huge role in our shelter.
There are many volunteer opportunities available, including helping at adoption events, helping to keep the shelter clean, providing office support, socializing with the animals, helping at fundraising events, and many others.

Foster
Do you have room in your heart and your home to foster a pregnant cat or dog, a newborn litter, young puppies or kittens? How about the patience, love and understanding to nurture an adult animal back to health so he/she can have a second chance at life?
We are always looking for families to welcome special needs animals into their homes until they are ready to return to the shelter for permanent placement. Fostering an animal in need provides a unique learning opportunity for children and their families.
We will provide basic supplies for your foster pet including food, toys, cat litter, leashes etc. We will also send you home with any medication your foster pet is on.
We generally ask for a minimum of two weeks and the maximum is open ended.
We also welcome shorter commitments, which allow you to take a dog out just for the day or for a weekend. It is wonderful to get animals out of the shelter and into a home even for a few days!
To become a foster family, please fill out our Foster Form below. Once received, we will process it within 2-3 business days and notify you of the status of your application. Once you become a foster home, we will add your information to our database and contact you whenever we can use your help.
